I know....I have fallen WAY behind on my blogging...I am sorry! ;)

We finally broke down and put the pool up in the backyard that has been stored in our attic for about two years! Our of pure desperation....

From previous post you might know that we have been desperately trying to potty train Lane. Well...we did...but only HALF way. He would only pee in the potty....I felt like a completely inadequite mom....even though I had successfully potty trained two little ones already I had used every tool in my tool belt! I tried treats, prizes, parties, spanks, 'cleaning it up himself' tactics and even staying home and going 'nakey'. Lane finally pooped in his CLOSET...and I was so bad, frustrated etc. I called Will in tears! This little child of mine is going to be FOUR in September and was still pooping his pants! That night Will came home and we set up the pool in the back yard and we we swam in it all night and all Saturday morning! We told Lane he could not get in until he pooped in potty! IT WORKED!!!!!!!! I have never been so excited in all my life! He finally told me he had to potty, went in and sat down and just went! Like it was nothing or better yet like he had done it a million times...He did get lots of praise and DID go swimming! Just for the record....we have had NO accidents sense! Crazy that I changed diapers for 8 1/2 years and just like that....it is done.
