1st Day of School

I just cannot believe how time flies. I remember feeling overwhelmed when I had three kids that were 3 and under! I would feel slightly annoyed when people would tell me to 'enjoy these times they fly by' I was exhausted. Now I have two little ones that go to school ALL day. (sniffle, sniffle) This year however, they are both at the same school and I am keeping Lane at home with me. I hope to enjoy some time with just him while the big kids are at school.

Nolan & Kynedy

The only picture I was able to capture 'at' school. It is NOT cool to take picture when you
get to 2nd grade. (note taken)

Nolan's 1st BMX Race...

WOW....trying to find the words to say. Our little exstreme sport guy did great! BMX is a different world from Mountain biking...so it is fun to see and hear all the different lingo. I enjoy my job as photographer and a loud cheering mom. Nolan LOVED it and did a fantastic job!

Getting ready & sporting this HUGE helmet

Signing Nolan's life away....

Just precious!

Kynedy showing her beautiful purple cast...which brings me to the last chapter:
She wears this one until Wednesday and then hopefully she gets this one off and another, shorter, AND waterproof cast put on.

"ummm..No thanks. I don't want my picture taken"
that is what he told me, so I only got this one shot.

GO NOLAN!!!

Getting ready for the 2nd heat

We had a crash...but no worries. We are all in one piece (at least this time)
He got right up & jumped back on his bike and kept going. Everyone in the stands yelled for him.
It was adorable...his short little legs just peddle so fast!
He was really pumped to look like a 'real' biker because he was all dirty!

Kynedy's Turn....

Yes...we have a broken arm. There is no big dramatic way she hurt it either. We were at gymnastics just like all our other Tuesdays and she did a running cart wheel and just landed on it the wrong way.
She has what they call a 'Green Tree Branch Break'....basically her arm 'bent' like a bow and it broke the inner part of her bone. Strange....didn't even know that could happen! So...needless to say the Dr. is not able to set it as quickly like when you have a clean break. Unfortunatley she had to have an IV and loopy juice and a 'block' put in under her collar bone so they could gently bend her bone back in place. She was such a trooper and is doing great!!! Thank you for all the prayers, notes, gifts and thoughts!

Going Home

She goes back to the Dr. on Wednesday to get her 'pretty' cast put on!

BMX

We took the kids to the BMX raceway. They all had a really good time and burned off TONS of energy!
