Our SHINING STAR

This week NOLAN was chosen by his teacher Mrs. Surritte to be the shining star! I strongly believe that God hand picks the teacher that is best for our children. He certainly did so this year! Nolan has overcome some huge hurdles in his behavior management in the classroom and we are so greatful for the encouragement and love he gets everyday going into his classroom! Each week a new Shining Star is chosen and what that means is:

*You get to decorate a HUGE yellow star that tells all about you!

*Your entire family is invited to come to school on Monday morning

* The shining star gets to introduce their family to their friends

*Each friend tells what that like about the shining star!

*you are the line leader for that week

*he really likes 'dirt bikes' (and make sure you say that with a long Texas 'I') and skateboards
*He thinks Cody Maverick is cool (from the movie surfs up)
* he likes transformers and spiderman
* and his favorite color in Pink (however I didn't put that on there, b/c sometimes he gets embarrassed! haha)
*he really likes when he gets "gets to drink a coke and when he gets a sip of mom & dads Toffee Nut Latte"
