For those of you that have followed me over the past several years...I usually am really good at keeping up with my blog. Forgive me for this past year but it has by far been the craziest yet!
Of course those of you that are mommies know that in itself is a fulltime job. I thought I was busy when my kids were babies...and I was! WOW...a different kind of busy as they start to get into school. Three kids, three schools, three teachers all of which require different things here and there. Don't get me wrong we are blessed that are children attend amazing schools but trying to to remember money for this, a dollar to wear a hat, one needs an apple on thursday, the other a small pumpkin on tuesday...etc. You get the picture. Trying my hardest to make sure everyone gets to school with the proper attire, homework assignments, and heaven for bid underwear! Oh yes...Nolan decided NOT to wear them one day ;) nice! We did have a talk and I informed him that not wearing underwear was not a choice he got...so far so good.
I also really do have christmas cards!!! I have addressed them and put them in envelopes and so far they sit nicely stacked still on my counter so you may get a Merry Christmas card like in March...forgive me.
I lack my last year of college to get my degree...that happens when babies come a little earlier than planned ;) I decided this year since Lane was in school that I would finally go back and finish. So I will have a degree in Psychology and Ethics by fall of 2011...needless to say that is a huge load to add on to my already heavy load I carry. Then because apparantly I didn't feel like I had enough on my plate I am still working at our church MDO on Tuesdays and Thursdays but a friend of mine was looking for a teacher for her MDO on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and she said they would have a spot for Lane since his school is only half day. And so....I teach one of the Pre-k classes at her MDO as well. I love being back in the classroom and God has been so gracious to allow me to teach my third year of pre-k without my 'official degree'. I am still working with my high school girls on wed. nights and I love them dearly. I seriously think I learn far more from them than they do from me.
Will is staying busy helping to build yet another company! Oh living with an entrepreneur always has its ups and downs but he is loving his job and that is what is most important.
So in case you all don't get our christmas card this month...(seriously...gee!) We pray each of you are filled with blessings in 2011 and that the peace and grace of God is with you all.
