ANOTHER sad accident...

Well...at least it wasn't TEETH! Our sweet Nolan had to get stitches! To tell you the truth...I am surprised he lasted until 5 years old! He is such a dare devil...crazy about mountain biking and skateboards. Would you believe that it was NEITHER of those things... On Wednesday night we were eating at church and Nollie saw a friend of his. He went to go sit with his friend and I was cleaning up our table...I heard him crying and looked up to see blood squirting from his head, running down his face and and all down his hands!!! I grabbed napkin and put it over his head and rushed him over to the 'kitchen' area to get ice and a towel. Trying to just calm him down ( he was a little freaked out by all the blood) I got him cleaned up and finally was able to pull the rag down for a few seconds to get a look at what we were dealing with. As soon as I saw it I knew...stitches without-a-doubt. Of course Will was not there, I had to call him at the gym and have him 'paged' out of his Spin class...I told him to come to the church that Nolan had a hole in his head....I wish I could have said cut...but it was a full blown hole!
So...back to the story....while he was getting up from the table with his friend they could not resist a quick game of 'tag', he tripped and fell smack into the corner of a table and it literally stabbed him. I did ask for the good ole' super glue that they now use for most situations but apparantly when you can see the 'skull' you have to use stitches...

Well, this is Nolie's first, but sure it won't be his last with his adverturous spirit, also keeping in mind of his inheritance he gets from his accident-prone mother ...!
But he is so cute, even with a nasty cut and stitches. Hope it heals quickly Nolie!
