So...ONE of my greatest fears is being in a tornado...you know BEING in one. I have horrific visions of only having two hands and holding on to all 3 of my children and having to battle it out with the force of mother nature! God was with us on Tuesday!!! I had JUST left to go to the church to pick up Lane from MDO so I had him and Nolan with me. As I was picking him up the schools went on lock down because the first of three tornados was comming! As I gathered in the church hallway holding both of my boys I was trying to stay calm and I imagined my poor Kynedy's face, as I knew she was school without me! Luckily Will was at the Home Depot (RIGHT down the street from this pic!!!) and her school is 1 mile away & he went to be with her. We were about 4 miles away (at the church) our house is about 5 blocks!!!! For those who have been to our home....This is on the entrance to our neighborhood from PENN.
Again...I say a prayer to our Almighty and thank him for his protection.

That's EXACTLY why you should live in Texas. Oklahoma is only good for tornadoes. You really should consider coming 'home' ASAP!!! I was totally stressed!!
I had to call Matt as soon as I heard. Glad you are all OK, we went through 2 tornadoes and 1 giant softball sized hail storm in Monahans within a few years of each other. I know how terrifying it is and just be ready to be scared every time you see a storm cloud coming!! I'm with Staci ya'll need to come back to Texas because I do think Okla. has MORE tornadoes!!
Goodness....glad you guys are all ok!! Tornadoes are my biggest fear...after living in Amarillo for 2 years and having to duck and cover several times, I realized I wanted out of the "Tornado Belt"!!!
